Keep a
clear conscience |

"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always
be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope
that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so
that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of
their slander" (1 Peter 3:15-16).

"My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do

sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be your
confidence and will keep your foot from being snared" (Proverbs 3:21-26).

Conscience accuses of sin |

"David was conscience-stricken after he had counted
the fighting men, and he said to the LORD, "I have sinned greatly in what I have
done. Now, O LORD, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very
foolish thing" (2 Samuel 24:10).

A guilty conscience can be cleansed |
